Jet Leg is that dreaded symptom many jet setters obtain when travelling the globe. While it can be quite bothersome to feel tired during the day and wide awake in the evening there’s a perfectly good reason for it, and luckily some easy solutions to outsmart it. Why let Jet Lag ruin your travel adventures?
Before You Jet Off:
Charge up-Try to catch up on any loss sleep, this will help you fuel up on any lost hours you experience while travelling.
Change it up-Before you leave try to go to bed and wake up in the hours your new time zone you will be in. This will help your body jump start the process and hopefully miss that whole jet lag experience.
During Your Journey:
Drink Water- Keeping hydrated is important for many reasons but it can also help with the feelings of jet lag.
Preparing for Sleep- Try and make yourself relaxed and comfortable as you close your eyes on the plane. Stress can lead to lack of sleep which will automatically enhance the feeling of jet lag.
Finally at Your Destination:
New Sleeping Patterns-Try and get as much sleep as possible during the appropriate times. Attempt to stay up till a normal hour at night then try and sleep a normal amount of hours without over doing them.
Natural Light- This is one of the most important factors that helps cycle your body. Try and get as much natural light at your new destination as possible and expose yourself to it as often as possible.
