What are the main Dubai airport hubs?
In Dubai there are two airports, Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC). Both of which have a number of transport options which will take you into central Dubai.
Dubai International Airport (DXB):Located only 5 kilometres from the city centre is Dubai International Airport. Making it an easy option if you want to get into the city centre as quickly as possible. The airport is home to two metro stations, with trains running from Terminals 1 and 3. If you’re looking to save some cash, take one of the local buses. And if you’re feeling fancy taxis are available too.
Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC):Al Maktoum International, otherwise known as Dubai World Central, is a little further out of Dubai city centre, 37 kilometres to be exact. There are no direct transport options to this airport, but you can use a combination of both the metro and local buses to get there.
