Often an afternoon, or even an entire day, simply isn't enough to experience everything you want to on a tour. When this is the case, you need to consider taking a multi-day tour. It comes with many unique benefits; you'll meet people who are interested in the same things as you, you'll get to visit locations that are further off the beaten track and so less popular, you'll ensure you make the most of your trip by constantly being involved in something new throughout the tour and of course you'll have tonnes of fun with your new mates along the way.

For a short multi-day tour, you could try the Turtles and Tortuguero 3 day tour in Central America. Costa Rica is a stunning country, and the Toruguero National Park only further serves to support this view. You'll depart from San Jose in the early morning of day one and make your way to Toruguero. From there you'll explore and get used to your surroundings because day 2 is where the real fun starts. You'll join an early morning canal tour and watch the jungle awaken around you. If you want to catch a view of the turtles though, make sure you take the tour between July and September (their nesting season) to have the best chance of seeing them.
